Walk starts at Balvraid Farm in upper Glen Bheag looking at cup marked stone, hut circle, and finishes at Druim Iosal where there is a deserted village. Talk will bring in chambered cairn, brochs and past lives of the area. Level 2 walk. Meet at Glenelg Village Hall to arrange car sharing. The walk will finish at Druim Iosal where we are mapping the village and drawing up the remains. Anyone interested in staying on after the walk to participate is welcome. Otherwise, you will need to make your own way back down the track. Project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Free/donations welcome. Children with adults welcome. Dogs on leads welcome. Packed lunch suggested.
