Explore some pre-clearance and post-clearance settlements of the area and how they fit amongst a much-older land-use system, including a brief history of Forse Estate. The incredible later Iron-Age site “Wag of Forse” will be looked at as well. Meet at “Forse of Nature”, Latheron; car-park is one mile up Forse House drive (ND 2123 3542). Walk level 2. No dogs please as we will be going through livestock.
