Dingwall has a long history and it played its part in the worldwide expansion of the British Empire. There are those who feel that Dingwall is the centre of the world; this evening’s talk may help to show why!

Jonathan retired some years ago from teaching people how to use their computers. He is a member of the Dingwall History Society, the Highland Family History Society and a Trustee of the Dingwall Museum. He gives history tours on the streets of Dingwall too, some included in this year’s Highland Archaeology Festival.
