We are hosting a mini-dig for children inside the museum, where they will search for finds in our sandpit, and then record their find as an archaeologist would. We will also teach them about the found object and take them for a short look round the museum. The event will run in two sessions for 12 children between the ages of 5 and 8. First session 10:15-11:30am, second session 12:15-1:30pm. Specify which session when booking.
