The application of ancient DNA analysis to prehistoric human remains from Scotland in 2016/17 has been producing some very interesting results that re-ignite debates about Neolithic and Copper Age immigration. This lecture by Dr Alison Sheridan, Principal Curator, Early Prehistory at the National Museum of Scotland asks: how does this change our understanding of Highland prehistory?
