The sheet for the treasure hunt can be collected from the West Highland Museum, and a prize can be collected at the end.

Calling Young Archaeologists! Our Archaeology Pit has been newly refurbished, so you get hands on and have a go at digging. You will uncover Pictish and medieval features and find lots of exciting artefacts on the way. Children must be supervised by accompanying adult. Only 3 children in the pit in each 30 minute session. Sessions can be booked online – recommended but not essential. Children and adults are welcome to visit the museum after the session.

Join Black Isle author Vee Walker as she explores tales of the distant past in Fortrose and Rosemarkie. The day is split into two, with a tour of Fortrose 11am-12:30pm, meeting at the war memorial gate into Fortrose Cathedral. The tour will explore the cathedral itself and the streets around it.
There will then be an opportunity for lunch at the Beach Café after driving to Rosemarkie. The afternoon tour will commence at the gateway to Rosemarkie Kirk and burial ground off Rosemarkie High Street at 2pm. The tour will end at Groam House Museum which will be open to allow people to explore.
